All in one place, here are all the basic questions and answers you may have about bathtub chip repair. From who we are to what we do is listed below in an easy-to-read and understand Q&A format. But please, if you have any other questions not addressed here, contact us via email ([email protected]) or phone at 817.305.0300.
We are Jim and Debbie Sharp, a small family-owned-and-operated husband and wife team who has served the bathtub chip repair needs of the DFW metroplex for 45 years - since 1980! I am Debbie, Jim's wife and the office manager, the one you will speak to when you call 817.305.0300. I'm also the one who will respond to your emails. Most importantly, Jim is the one who actually does the bathtub chip repair work.
Being in the bathtub chip repair business for 45 years means we've about seen it all when it comes to bathtub damage. If you want your bathtub damage repaired correctly, we strongly encourage you to choose a company with lots of experience - and an abundance of good ratings online. Our work 'speaks for itself' through the testimonials of our customers. You can read them here, or by accessing reviews across social platforms like Google, Yelp, Nextdoor, or Angi (formerly Angie's List).
We aren't the cheapest or the most expensive out there (check Pricing), but we are the best in what we do. From the high quality repair products that we have located and chosen to use, to the meticulous care we take with every single job, you will never be disappointed with our work. Just take a look at our long list of satisfied customers.
What needs to be done before Jim arrives to repair the damage?
Not a lot. Just remove everything from inside and around the bathtub, including the shower curtain, before Jim arrives so that he will have plenty of room to work.
YES! The quickest and easiest way to get an estimate is to take a picture of the entire bathtub so I can see how it sits in the room. Also take a picture of the damage, zoomed in and out (in other words, get close enough so I can see the damage, but far enough away so I can gain perspective as to the size and location of the damage in relation to the tub). Taping a coin next to the damage will help isolate it in a picture. When taking these pictures, just do the best you can and keep in mind I'm trying to see what you see.
Emailing pictures allows us to quickly create your bid by eliminating a personal trip, which in turn saves you time in receiving a bid and deciding if you want to schedule the work. Please note, because we require a paper trail of all communications, email is our preferred method of communication. Our office number is a landline phone that cannot accept texts, and that's why we use email for all communication.
Which kinds of payment methods do you offer?
Payment is due at time of service, before Jim leaves the property, and our only accepted methods of payment are cash, check, or Zelle. We are a small, family-owned-and-operated business, and do not accept mailed payments or credit cards, nor do we extend payment terms or work through third parties for payment. We provide a PAID receipt by email after the work is completed and payment has been made.
By email([email protected]) or phone (817.305.0300). I personally answer all emails and telephone calls, but if you do happen to reach the message center between the hours of 10am-5pm, it means I'm on the other line or temporarily away from the office. Please leave a message, because I will call you back in a timely manner!

And of course, the most important thing in our lives is sharing our love for Christ and pointing others to him for eternal salvation. If you haven't received that free gift from God, click on the cross to read how. If you have any questions, please let us know!
Although we have high-quality work ethics and skills, what drives our excellence is Who we're ultimately serving. Colossians 3:23: "Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord Himself and not merely for others." We're working for the Lord and not for man. It's important and drives our every decision in life.
